Settle with the best
We are proud to offer the most complete personal injury medicolegal expert witness report service in Australia. Our expert registered Occupational Therapists assess, report, peer-review and witness all of our personal injury cases, including cases that need full life care plans as a result of catastrophic injuries. Forensic accounting – determining quantum based on the OT’s recommendations – is included as standard.
Short-Form OT Reports
Our Short-Form OT Reports assess a claimant’s need for:
- personal care
- domestic assistance
- specialised equipment
- therapy and other services.
The short-form format is suitable for claimants:
- whose care needs do not require detailed explanation
- whose injury history is straightforward
- whose prognosis reasonably static.
The assessment we undertake is the same as for our standard (longer) reports; the difference is that we are selective with the detail we include in the final report.
So, you get same gold-standard Evidex analysis, condensed into a shorter report, saving you and your client time and money.
Not suitable for:
- spinal cord injury
- brain injury
- complex psychological injury
- paediatric injury.
Forensic Accounting – included as standard
All Evidex OT Reports and Vocational Assessments include forensic accounting as standard.
Our forensic accountants quantify your claim based on our OTs’ recommendations.
Tested in both plaintiff- and defence-side matters, our proprietary forensic accounting model is more accurate than the standard approach seen elsewhere.
For OT Reports, our forensic accounting calculates the quantum of care needs, services, equipment, home mods, and all other OT recommendations.
For Vocational Assessments, based on the occupations identified by the OT, our forensic accounting gives a present-day value of lost earnings, taking into account super, tax, future discounting, and all other relevant factors.
