‘Day In The Life’ DVD
For catastrophically injured claimants, Evidex can produce ‘Day in the life’ DVDs – confronting and powerful video evidence showing the full brunt of a person’s (or their carer’s) burden. Feedback is that these provide valuable leverage in negotiations.
These are filmed by our Occupational Therapists, who are trained in assessing daily care needs, and they cover all the key activities you’d expect to see discussed in the ADL / OT Report. As such, they work well as a standalone item, or alongside the ADL.
Of about 40 minutes’ duration, our DVDs cover most of what happens in a typical day for the claimant.
Video Notes
Where appropriate, our OTs will capture video footage of the claimant attempting engagement in routine daily activities sin their home environment. This can be a powerful confirmation of the degree of disability.
Video Notes are of approx. 5 – 10 minutes duration and are included as standard with our OT Reports where appropriate (or on request).
